I had called the Palm Springs salon asking store hours. I was told they close at 5 PM. I got off work and drove 10 miles and got there at 4:40 PM. I was told they were closed. I informed the employee that I had called earlier and was informed 5 PM. The employee stated they take the last cut at 4:30 PM.
I requested to talk to a manager. Andrea, the assistant manager came out and apologized stating they can’t cut my hair “because corporate doesn’t pay them overtime”. She stated they actually close at 4:30 PM but stay open until 5 PM “for product purchase only”.
First of all, I go there all the time and my haircut takes 10 minutes (tops) to cut. I informed the assistant manager several times how, not only inconvenient this was, but how frustrated I was with this situation. I asked two times “so there’s no way you can cut my hair” and she flat out said no. She finally replied, “I’ve already apologized to you, closing at 4:30 is our policy. You can call corporate with your concerns”.
Horrible attitude! I will never go there again
